Sealing element for a hydraulic unit (10) with at least one electromagnetic actuator, which is inserted in a support plate (13) and in the carrier plate (13) formed supply, return and drain channels (14, 15, 16), wherein the sealing element (20) is disposed on the end face of the support plate (13) to which lead the hydraulic ducts, characterized in that the sealing element (20) sealing strands (24) and connecting strands (26) which at least along the outer contour of a flexible, filtered fabric (23) extend and which have at least one branch, that the sealing strands (24) and connecting strands (26) in cross-section on both sides of the filtering fabric (23) plane, and in that the sealing strands (24) and connecting strands (26) at least one enclose flowed through by pressure medium and at least one region not traversed by the pressure center portion of the sealing element (20).
