TRANSFORMER WITH VARIABLE RISE TIMES IN THE TOROIDAL DEVICE ETA-BETA II

In the toroidal device ETA-BETA II designed for the production of high beta plasmas with RFP configuration, the possibility to vary the rise times of the toroidal field B z and of the current I z in the range 2÷100 μs, is considered.
