Emission and absorption of synchrotron radiation in tokamak plasmas

Emission and absorption of high harmonics radiation in a Tokamak plasma is investigated. The interplay of spatial inhomogeneities of the plasma parameters and toroidal variation of the magnetic field is discussed for horizontal and vertical propagation.
