Determination of Selenium Content in Rice by Spectrophotometry

A new method for determining the content of selenium in rice was investigated.The linear range of determination was 0-18μg·L~(-1),and the relative standard deviation was not more than 2.4%.This method is sensitive,simple and reproducible.The method is applied to the determination of trace selenium in rice with satisfactory results.
