The invention relates to a spoke type permanent magnet self-starting motor rotor. The motor rotor sleeves a motor rotor shaft. The motor rotor includes a rotor body, permanent magnets and rotor guide bars; a plurality of motor rotor slots which are distributed along the circumferential direction of the rotor body are formed in the rotor body; the rotor guide bars are arranged in the motor rotor slots; a plurality of permanent magnet slots are formed in the rotor body; the permanent magnets are arranged in the permanent magnet slots; a plurality of layers of motor rotor lamination sheets are coaxially laminated with the same manner so as to form the rotor body; a plurality of high-strength steel wires are arranged in the rotor body; the high-strength steel wires are located between adjacent motor rotor lamination sheets and pass through the permanent magnet slots; the distance between adjacent high-strength steel wires in each permanent magnet slot along the axial direction of the motor rotor shaft is smaller than the thickness of ten motor rotor lamination sheets; each permanent magnet slot is communicated with two different motor rotor slots; and the permanent magnets do not contact with the rotor guide bars.
