Research progress in studies on main susceptibility genes of schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a common and complex mental disorder with unknown etiology,and it has been widely considered to be influenced by environment and heredity.In recent years,many relevant researches have proven that genetic factors play an important role in the pathogenesis of schizophrenia.Taking advantage of whole genome scanning and linkage analysis,genome-wide associate study and linkage disequilibrium analysis,a series of susceptibility genes have been found,such as DTNBP1,COMT,DISC1,NRG1.This paper briefly reviews above-mentioned susceptibility genes,and introduces the latest relevant research achievements.
