Nachweis einer fehlenden Kontaktinhibition der Leber durch Northern blot und Array-Technik bei der congenitalen Zwerchfellhernie im Nitrofen-Rattenmodell

2003
Background Symptoms of congenital diaphragmatic hernia has to be a central theme in pediatric surgery. An attempt to operate these children in case of an ultrasonically detected diaphragmatic hernia during the fetal period was unsuccessful. The main problems are the hypoplastic lungs, the hypoxia and at last the persisting fetal circulation that is responsible for the death of the children. In prior investigations we detected first that there is an active in growths of the liver in the thoracic cavity and second an increased proliferation of the intrathoracic part of the liver (BrdU-labeling-index). In this study we focused mainly to the difference in gene expression of the different liver parts.
