Apparatus for treating animal corpse and animal by-products

2016
The present invention relates to an apparatus for hydrolyzing a treatment target containing at least one of animal carcasses and animal remnants. Specifically, the apparatus comprises: a decomposition tank which includes a filling space to be filled with a hydrolysis solution capable of hydrolyzing and liquefying the treatment target; a basket which is installed in the filling space to be immersed in the hydrolysis solution, includes a receiving space to receive the treatment target, and includes a plurality of through holes communicating the filling space with the receiving space, and having predetermined sizes to allow the hydrolysis solution and the treatment target liquefied by the hydrolysis solution to be passed selectively; a stirrer which stirs the hydrolysis solution; and a heater which heats the hydrolysis solution at a predetermined temperature. Accordingly, the apparatus of the present invention can prevent a discharge hole from being blocked by unhydrolyzed tissues by separating the hydrolyzed and liquefied tissues and the unhydrolyzed tissues remaining as solid in the treatment target before discharging the same.
