Heat treatment of steel 1Kh15N4AM3

1. We established the optimal heat treatment conditions to improve the machineability and ensure stable mechanical properties of parts made of steel 1Kh15N4AM3. 2. To prevent the formation of surface defects when parts are held in the annealed condition the surface must be protected against moisture and contact with a humid atmosphere. 3. Parts of steel 1Kh15N4AM3 can be repaired and restored by facing before or after heat treatment, with retention of high mechanical properties.
