Synthesis and study of the behaviour of polymers with disylethylene groups

1974
Abstract A study was made of the behaviour of polymers prepared by poly-addition and containing siloxane bonds and crosslinking disylthylene groups. Quantitative relations were derived between the degree of hardening of polymers and their functionality. It was shown that disylethylene groups, compared with siloxane bonds ensure a more effective crosslinking of polymers and increase stability during ageing by heat in vacuum and inert atmospheres.
