The Clinical Research of the Treatment on Lipid Metabolism in Postmenopausal Women by Dan Chen Mixture

Objective:To analyze the treatment on lipid metabolism in postmenopausal women by Dan Chen mixture through clinical research and mechanism study.Methods:136 patients with lipid metabolism were divided into two groups,the treatment group(n=68) were treated by Dan Chen mixture,the control group(n=68) were given by Xuezhikang treatment.Both groups were treated for 8 weeks.The changes of total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH) and estradiol(E2) were observed before and after treatment.Results:After treatment the levels of TC,TG and LDL-C were markedly reduced(P0.05),also the differences between two groups were not statistically significant.The treatment group increased E2 concentration which was more significant than that of the control group(P0.05),and reduced FSH level(P0.05) after treatment.Conclusion: The Dan Chen mixture's definite effect on lipid metabolism was achieved by benefiting kindney and circulating Stasis as well as balancing yin and yang in postmenopausal women.Moreover the mechanism was maybe related with increasing E2 concentration and adjusting postmenopausal women's endocrine disorder.
