Medicines and drugs in Dutch traffic : results of the European research project DRUID that are relevant for road safety policy in the Netherlands.

Driving under the influence of alcohol, psychoactive medicines and drugs is one of the major factors in road crashes. An estimate by the European Commission indicates that alcohol use is involved in 25% of the fatal crashes in Europe.
