A compound of formula (I): ** (See formula) ** wherein (i) R1 is C1-C6 alkyl or hydrogen; and R2 is hydrogen or a group -R7, -ZY-R7, -Z-NR9R10; -Z-CO-NR9R10, -Z-NR9-C (O) O-R7 or -ZC (O) -R 7; and R3 is a lone pair, or C1-C6 alkyl; or (ii) R1 and R3 together with the nitrogen to which they are attached form a heterocycloalkyl ring, and R2 is a lone pair or -R7, -ZY-R7, -Z-NR9R10, -Z-CO-NR9R10 group, -Z-NR9-C (O) O-R7; or; -ZC (O) -R 7; or (iii) R1 and R2 together with the nitrogen to which they are attached form a heterocycloalkyl ring, said substituted with -Y-R7, -ZY-R7, -Z-NR9R10 group ring being; -Z-CO-NR9R10; -Z-NR9-C (O) O-R7; or; -ZC (O) -R 7; and R3 is a lone pair, or C1-C5 alkyl; combinations of R4 and R5 are those wherein (i) each of R4 and R5 is monocyclic heteroaryl of 5 or 6 ring atoms; (Ii) each of R4 and R5 is phenyl; (Iii) one of R4 and R5 is phenyl and the other is cycloalkyl; and (iv) one of R4 and R5 is monocyclic heteroaryl of 5 or 6 ring atoms and the other is cycloalkyl; R6 is -OH, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6, nitrile, an CONR82 group or a hydrogen atom C1-C6 hydroxy alkyl; A is an oxygen atom or sulfur; X is an alkylene, alkenylene or alkynylene group; R7 is a C1-C6 alkyl, aryl, cycloalkyl fused aryl-heterocycloalkyl fused heteroaryl, aryl (C1-C6) -, heteroaryl (C1-C6) -, cycloalkyl or heterocycloalkyl; R8 is C1-C6 alkyl or a hydrogen atom; Z is an alkylene or C 2 -C 16 alkynylene group C1-C16, C2-C16 alkenylene; Y is a bond or an oxygen atom; R9 and R10 are independently a hydrogen atom or a C1-C6 alkyl, aryl, heterocycloalkyl fused aryl-cycloalkyl fused heteroaryl, aryl (C1-C6- or heteroaryl (C1-C6) -; or R9 and R10 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached form a heterocyclic ring of 4-8 atoms, optionally containing an additional nitrogen atom or oxygen; wherein any aryl and aryl-heterocycloalkyl, heteroaryl, cycloalkyl, fused arylcycloalkyl, heterocycloalkyl condensate may be substituted with one or more substituent groups selected from acyl, alkoxy, alkoxycarbonyl, alkylamino, alkylsulfinyl, alkylsulfonyl, alkylthio, -NH2, aminoacyl, aminoalkyl, alkylaminoalkyl, arylalkyl, cyano, dialkylamino, halo, haloalkoxy, haloalkyl, alkyl, - OH, -CHO, -COOH, -NO2, aryl (optionally substituted by alkoxy, haloalkoxy, halogen, alkyl or haloalkyl), heteroaryl (optionally substituted with alc oxy, haloalkoxy, halogen, alkyl or haloalkyl), heterocycloalkyl, aminoacyl, aminosulfonyl, acylamino, sulfonylamino, heteroarylalkyl, cyclic amine, aryloxy, heteroaryloxy, arylalkyloxy and heteroarylalkyloxy; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate or N-oxide thereof.
