뇌파(EEG)를 통한 콘텐츠 환경에 따른 집중도 차이 분석

2019
In 2018, the number of adults aged 65 and older already approached 14% of total population. It is grown rapidly by year. the increase is principally due to the maturing of baby boomer born in Korea between 1955 and 1963. In 2020, the first baby boomer will turn 65, and by 2028 the entire baby boom generation will be 65 or older. They describe themselves as thriving and healthy and consider aging well as a lifestyle and have an enormous economic power and hope to engaging a variety of cultural and leisure activities. Most of them are often used to enjoy internet contents through a smartphone or PC. But it is not easy to access because of contents’ user interface or environment that was focused on eco generation. So, we study that how does web environment affect attention of elderly people. Using the electroencephalography, we measured and analyzed averaged band power and calculated beta/alpha, theta/beta ratios. As a result, generally delta, theta band power and theta/beta ratio are higher in normal environment. On the contrary beta power, beta/alpha ratio are higher in customized environment that is customized reflecting cognitive function of elderly people. These results propose that the attention of elderly people varies among web environments.
