Early Identification: Cultivating Success for Young Gifted Children

2008
Early identification and cultivating gifted preschoolers provides appropriate education for young gifted children. Early intervention is a series of service models which aim to transcend diversity and provide opportunity, equality and excellence in early childhood education. The experiences of early intervention in education can powerfully impact on attitudes toward learning confidence and later achievements for all young children. The optimal development for gifted preschoolers with individual special needs can be enhanced with intervention at an early age. This research attempts to investigate by utilizing literature review methodology which yields themes relating to significance, service treatments, benefits and perspectives, how early intervention affects appropriate development for all gifted preschoolers.
