A STUDY OF THE RECORDING AND REPRODUCING OF DIGITAL VCR USING METAL EVAPORATED SYSTEM TAPE

The specifications of Digital VCR for consumer use has been announced and approved by HD Digital VCR Conference on April 1994. We have developed an experimental D-VCR adopted the specifications. We obtain the high density recording, 263 Mbpi2, using Metal Evaporated Tape and an new automatic equalizer. The automatic equalizer consist of a new analog detector and a new analog delay circuit.
