Experimental study on dual rotors rubber continuous mixer

2017
It is common to use open mill and mixer to mix in robber production nowadays. However, there are many disadvantages, for example, the unstable quality of mixing rubber, the discontinuous production, low efficiency, high energy consumption and so on. While most of the existing continuous mixing equipment and technology remain in plastics and powdery, granular, liquid robber with fluidity. This paper aimed at the block rubber which is widely used in rubber industry, developed a new dual rotors rubber continuous mixer independently, had a experiment study of different process parameters effect on continuous rubber mixing, and confirmed the optimum process parameters. The experiments showed that the mixing effect is the best to of the new block rubber continuous mixing when the rotors rotating speed is about 30rmp and the temperature of die and each barrel is about 80 Ό.
