A method for setting a desired point according to an embodiment of the present invention, which is a method for setting a desired point on an electronic map, comprises the steps of: an electronic apparatus, equipped with a display which displays the electronic map and on which commands are entered via touch, sensing a selection of one point on the electronic map; receiving, by means of a touch, a magnification change command for the electronic map; and expanding or contracting the electronic map with respect to the one point in accordance with the magnification change command and displaying the electronic map on the display.
