High elongation brick column

The invention discloses a high elongation brick column which solves the problems of fragility, low bearing capacity and poor anti-seismic property in the existing brick columns. Masonry mortar of the high elongation brick column is high elongation mortar, and the high elongation mortar comprises cement, coal ash, silica fume, sand, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber and water. The anti-seismic property of the high elongation brick column is remarkably better than that of a common brick column. The high elongation brick column is high in strength and good in ductility. Simultaneously the high elongation mortar can restrain damage on bricks, brittle failure of the brick columns is prevented, and energy consumption capacity of a brick masonry structure can be greatly improved.
