Nuevas alternativas en la producción de la vacuna antitetánica

2012
In the world great part of its population live in developing countries, epidemics produced because the lack of immunization, deficient vaccination programs, among other causes, cause millions of deaths annually. The WHO coordinates since 1974 amplified vaccination programs in which is included the antitetanic vaccine, that has no total population immune capacity demonstrated, some groups are allergic to the vaccine, they are exposed to many health risks, because of this, many researchers around the world are working in formulation and production vaccination alternatives that dismiss or eliminate the need of multiple dose administration, needle use, cold chain transport and management of vaccines, and explore new administration ways of the active vaccine compound that guarantee a prolonged effective protection against tetanus.
