RFID-based intelligent management of warehousing distribution of apparel supply chain

Combining Radio Frequency Indentification(RFID) with intellegent analysis of information and dicision-making technology,this paper discusses a RFID-based intelligent management of warehousing and distribution of apparel supply chain.Its operational processes are analyzed,and a framework is given.Based on the framework,an optimized model of picking and distribution is developed.The shortest distance for garment picking and distribution is computed,and the optimum route and order for picking is obtained.In consideration of the variance in the word meaning when reading and transmitting the information of RFID system,this study applies the information integration technology of OLAP and CBR to support the intelligent analysis and decision-making on warehousing and distribution of apparel supply chain,thus realizing its intelligent management.
