Habilidades, hábitos y actitudes en la práctica de la lectura de los estudiantes de I, II, III semestre de las licenciaturas en educación a distancia de CECAR - Sincelejo

Reading is one of the indispensable tools to achieve the quality of education. This research aims to describe the skills, habits and attitudes towards the practice of reading. The study is a descriptive method quantitative cutting because it aims to characterize the population under study in order to know the ways how are you reading, sites that prefer to read, the kind of reading that perform, shape how tutors oriented readings for a course and other aspects related to the theme and that is the purpose of this work. The population was made up of 202 students enrolled in I, II and III semester of the Bachelor of elementary education of the three emphasis which offers the Corporation University of the Caribbean - CAREC enrolled in IP/2013. The research results say that 67.8% of the respondents define reading as a necessity; Although they are aware that should be read, for them the reading is not within its priority activities; they prefer to read books on selfimprovement rather than academic or scientific; and it can be said, that the priority is not reading to the other activities carried out; only 2% is rated as excellent readers. Concluded that it becomes necessary a literacy process and the generation of a reading program in this institution that seeks to minimize the low results that have been obtained in the tests know Pro and achieve the reading transversalice the curriculum.
