A method for manufacturing a belt package of a pneumatic vehicle tire

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a belt package for pneumatic vehicle tires, consisting of at least two belt plies (3, 4, 5, 6). An automatic application and automatic splicing of all belt plies of the belt package is made possible in that the belt plies (3, 4, 5, 6) are constructed in at least two sub-packages, which are automatically placed independently on a belt drum (1) and automatically spliced, wherein the sub-packets are assembled to form the complete belt package.
