Microcontroller Serial Communication to Analyze Bit Characters

2018
In this study, serial communication is a method for sending data between two microcontrollers. This communication is not able to send data between two microcontrollers at the same time. The purpose of this work is to prove the appropriate characters sent from TX on arduino 1 to RX on arduino 2. The method employed in this work is to project a digital signal using an oscilloscope. The digital signal displayed in the oscilloscope will be translated in the form of a binary number set. Binary numbers obtained are matched with ASCII code. The experiments are conducted with sending one letter, two letters separated by a space, and one word. In addition, the digital signal results have been compared with ASCII code to clarify the characters represented by eight bits or one byte.
