Effect of hydrostatic pressure on the water absorption of epoxy polymers

1975
The water absorption of epoxy polymers at hydrostatic pressures up to 1000 kgf/cm2 has been studied. It has been shown that pressure very definitely reduces the water absorption value but essentially does not change the diffusion coefficient of water into the polymers under study. An explanation of the data obtained is given.
