The invention discloses a buffer device for a rail transit vehicle. The buffer device is suitable for easing longitudinal impulse between a motor train unit and a metro vehicle, and comprises a buffer, a nut, an annular spring, a sleeve, a rubber ball bearing, an anti-rotating strip, a stop ring, a clamping ring, a joint and a pre-pressing sleeve, wherein the front end of the shell of the buffer is fixedly connected with the joint; the rear part of the shell of the buffer is inserted into the sleeve and is in sliding fit with the sleeve; the rear end of the annular spring is abutted against the stop ring; the rear end of the stop ring is abutted against a step in the sleeve; the pre-pressing sleeve sleeves the shell of the buffer; the nut is in threaded connection with the front end of the sleeve and is abutted against the pre-pressing sleeve; the rear end of the shell of the buffer is also provided with an annular boss; the annular boss is in sliding fit with the inner wall of the sleeve; the front end of the annular boss can be abutted against the rear end of the stop ring; the annular boss is provided with an anti-rotating groove; the anti-rotating strip is arranged in the sleeve; the anti-rotating groove is in axial sliding fit with the anti-rotating strip. The buffer device has the advantages of good assembly manufacturability, small size, light weight and compact structure.
