Introduction to “Advances in low-temperature geochemistry, diagenesis, and seawater and climate evolution through the Earth’s history: a tribute to Ján Veizer”

This special issue of the Canadian Journal of Earth Science, which is entitled “Advances in low–temperature geochemistry, diagenesis, seawater and climate evolution through the Earth’s history: A special tribute to J. Veizer” is in honor of Professor Dr. Jan Veizer who is the Distinguished University Professor (emeritus) of Earth Sciences at the University of Ottawa and former Chair of Sedimentary and Isotope Geology, Institute for Geology, Mineralogy und Geophysics, of Ruhr University (Bochum, Germany).
