Effective use of surplus soil by highly-liquefied soil stabilization method and management; Koryudoka shori ni yoru kensetsu hasseido no sairiyo to seko kanri

1998
Recent expansion of construction work has produced a large quantity of soil with high water content. The liquefied soil stabilization method by mixing solidifier (cement) and water with soil enables uniform back-filling for recovery or restoration of ground space. RESM (Re-produced Soil Material) is a unique and simple method for high liquefied soil stabilization by using a specially modified concrete mixing truck. This paper presents the properties of stabilized soil by RESM and the effective manner of management for the site application. 5 refs., 10 figs., 4 tabs.
