Sulfide photonic crystal fiber

The invention discloses a sulfide photonic crystal fiber, and belongs to the field of fibers. The sulfide photonic crystal fiber comprises a fiber core structure and a cladding structure. The cladding structure comprises a substrate material (arsenic trisulfide) and a plurality of air channels disposed in the substrate material. The plurality of air channels are parallel to each other, and the cross section of the fiber forms regular hexagons with five or more layers. The fiber core structure comprises a substrate material which is surrounded by the air channels of the innermost regular hexagon in the cladding structure. The diameters of the air channels are equal, and are within the range from 1.8 microns to 2.2 microns. The intervals between the adjacent air channels are equal, and are within the range from 3.6 microns to 3.8 microns. Materials with the refractive index being less than the refractive index of the substrate material are disposed between the air channels of the innermost regular hexagon in the cladding structure, and comprise arsenic pentasulfide, fluid, ZBLAN fluoride or air. The sulfide photonic crystal fiber solves problems that a threshold value is high, the dispersion flatness is low, the area of a fiber core is small and the inconsistent diameters of all air holes bring difficulty to the actual drawing.
