The ontogenic changes of colony stimulating factor-1 receptor(CSF-1R) expression on neurons

2002
Objective To observe the ontogenic changes of exprtession of colony stimulating factor 1 receptor(CSF 1R) on neurons. Methods The expression of CSF 1R on neurons was shown by the use of immunochemical staining and immunoblotting(western blot). Results The expression of CSF 1R could be detected on cranial neurons of mice from fetal age 14 days in our experiment. The expression decreased gradually after birth, and keep a plateau after postnatal 4 weeks. Conclusion There is a close relationship between the level of CSF 1R expression and the ontogeny and development of neurons in CNS(central neurons system)in mice.It was suggested that expression of CSF 1R might play an important role in the development course of neural system in mice
