The reactions of diсhlorcarbenationes of 1,1-dichlorononene-1 and substituted β,β-dichlorostyrenes proceeding under phase-transfer catalysis are investigated. By the method of competitive reactions determined the relative activity of the double bond of substituted 1,1-dichloroolefines to the dichlorcarbene. It is found that 1-nonene significantly more active than 1,1-dichlorononene-1, while β,β-dichlorostyrene like αmethyl-β,β-dichlorostyrene in the interaction with dichlorcarbenes. The method of synthesis of the corresponding 1,1,2,2-tetrachlorocyclopropanes from 1,1-dichlorosubstituted styrenes is worked out.
