Clinical observation on 65 cases of HIV asymptomatic carriers treated by FuzhengPaidu Tablet II.

Objective :To observe the clinical effect of FuzhengPaidu Tablet Ⅱ on HIV asymptomatic carriers,offer objective and forcible clinical evidence for the clinical application,and establish foundation of manufacturing Chinese traditional medicine new drug for HIV asymptomatic carriers.Methods: 65 cases of HIV asymptomatic carriers were adopted.Each case was treated with FuzhengPaidu Tablet Ⅱ,5 tablets t.i.d.,three months as a period of treatment and four periods of treatment were observed.Changes of symptom,immune function and security index were checked-up before and after treatment.Results:The total effective rate of symptoms and physical sign was 92.31%.Different levels of CD4+ had different changes.Effective rate of FuzhengPaidu Tablet Ⅱ on CD4+ was superior in 451-600/mm3(72.8%)to that in 200-350/mm3(50%) or 351-450/mm3(66.6%).Conclusion: FuzhengPaidu Tablet Ⅱ could obviously improve symptoms and physical sign of HIV asymptomatic carriers.The results indicated that it can raise or stabilize immune function,had better effect in treating cases with CD4+ in 451-600/mm3.
