STUDY OF THE INFLUENCE OF FOREST ON MAIN WIND FLOW PARAMETERS USING CFD MODELING

In this study, a complex forested site was analysed based on both CFD and field measurements (sampled at four instrumented met masts). A detailed modeling has been carried out to analyze the influence of densely forested areas and forest exploitation on wind resource, and the main wind flow parameters.
