Research on Health Status Assessment of Satellite Communication System Based on Degradation Degree

With the rapid development of aerospace and communication technology, the research and exploration of satellite communication system health status assessment, diagnosis and maintenance technology has attracted extensive attention of the information and industry organizations in various countries. The prognostic and health management (PHM) of satellite communications systems is aimed at increasing the availability, reliability and safety of satellite communications systems and improving the quality and efficiency of their maintenance guarantee. In this paper, a method of health assessment of satellite communication system based on degradation degree is proposed, this paper introduced the concept of degradation degree, calculation methods and steps of health assessment, the scientificity and operability of the health status assessment method based on degradation degree are verified by a satellite communication system assessment case[1].
