Self-agglomeration and compatibility of polyphenylquinoxalines

1994
Light scattering studies of heterocyclic poly(phenylquinoxaline)s (PPQ) have demonstrated a pronounced tendency towards self-agglomeration. This self-agglomeration of PPQs prevents their compatibility with both polydonors and polyacceptors. Nevertheless, dynamic mechanical analysis of blends of PPQ indicated the presence of weak interactions in the blends with polydonors, evidenced by the presence of a third glass transition and the shift of the glass temperatures of the blend components
