Achievement Motivation as an Internal Factor of Student's Personality Development

This article presents the results of scientific studies on achievement motivation and selfactualization features among students of humanitarian and economic specialties in the learning process. Analysis of these results shows that the optimal level of achievement motivation increases the level of self-actualization. Students with a strong achievement motivation tend to reveal and develop personal potential. The significance of this study is that the revealed interrelations between achievement motivation and self-actualization level of students allows us to conclude that a high level of achievement motivation is a stimulus for students’ self-actualization.
