The work was developed in Nova Alvorada do Sul, MS (21° 028 'S and 023° 54' W), with the objective of evaluating the micro and macroporosity cultivated with perennial cover crops intercropped with banana. The treatments were composed by an 8 x 2 factorial, being composed of different species of cover crops intercropped with banana plantations, being: perennial herbaceous legumes - 1) Arachis pintoi, 2) Pueraria phaseoloides, 3) Calopogonium mucunoides, 4) Stylosanthes guianensis, 5) consortium between P. phaseoloides and C. mucunoides and witnesses - 6) Canavalia ensiformis, 7) plot with weeds (predominance of Brachiaria decumbens) and 8) plot without vegetation (weeded frequently) and two evaluation periods of macro and micro
