Genetic Alterations of Androgen Receptor Function
1999
In vertebrates, the morphogenesis of tissues is a complex developmental process that requires the interaction of many different cell types via endocrine and paracrine path-ways. Although these processes are only just beginning to be unraveled for many tissues, a number of the genes involved in the development and differentiation of the vertebrate urogenital tract have been identified, and information pertaining to their biology and expression is becoming available.
