Experimental Research on Damage Threshold of CdS Detector Irradiated by Combined Lasers

2008
The damage threshold of CdS detector is measured when irradiated by combined lasers(in-band laser 532 nm and off-band laser 1 319 nm). Under the stated 1 319 nm laser power density, the time is shortened obviously with in-band laser joined when CdS detector is damaged, radiation time decreases firstly and increases later with the increasing power density of 532 nm laser; Under the stated radiation time of 1 319 nm laser, the power density of 1 319 nm laser decreases firstly and increases later with the increasing power density when CdS detector is damaged, but the recover value is still smaller than the value without 532 nm laser joined, it also shows the strengthen function of in-band laser. Two above mentioned changes are in consistency with the changes of voltage responses under the same condition.
