Cereal Grains in North America
2015
We provide an overview of grain production, consumption, and trade for the principal grains grown in North America during the period from 2002 to 2013. Grains covered include maize (corn), wheat, sorghum, barley, oats, and rice. For each of the major cereals, we provide a summary of trends in acreage, production, and average yields, with comparisons among the three North American countries (the United States, Canada, and Mexico) and with global production.
