PENGARUH MODUL ASUHAN PERSALINAN KALA III TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MAHASISWA DIII KEBIDANAN

This study aims to analyze the effect of the third stage of childbirth care modules on the skills of midwifery DIII students. Quasy experimental research design with pretest-posttest control group design. The sample size is 94 people. Which consisted of 47 people in the intervention group and 47 people in the control group. The intervention group got the learning media of the third stage of childbirth care module using the demonstration learning method, and the control group did not get the third stage of the childbirth care module. This module is written by the researchers themselves and has been validated by material experts, media experts and through testing the use of the students. The study was conducted for one month in November-December 2019 at AKBID Pelamonia Kesdam VII Wirabuana Makassar in the third semester midwifery students. Skills are measured twice before and after the intervention. Each group was studied in the laboratory in 3 times meetings for 2x50 minutes / meeting with ± 7 days interval. Data were analyzed using the chi square test and Mann-Whitney test. The results showed that the Third Stage of Childbirth Care module was influential in improving the skills of students performing third stage of childbirth care (P <0.05). Thus it can be concluded an increase in student skills in both the intervention group and the control group, but the intervention group showed a higher increase in skills.
