Adsorption Properties of Modified Sorghum Stalk for Phosphate

Modified sorghum stalk was applied to the adsorption of phosphate,and the effects of various experimental parameters such as pH,absorption time,temperature and the amount of modified sorghum stalk on the absorption were explored.The results showed that,at room temperature,the modified sorghum stalk had a good adsorption behavior to phosphate in short absorption time.The adsorption behaviors of modified sorghum stalk to phosphate accord with Freundlich and Langmuir adsorption isotherms equation,and also meet the pseudo-second-order kinetic equation.The adsorption process mainly relies on monomolecular physical adsorption.
