On Fault Simulation System of Power System

The fault simulation is an important constituent of the dynamic simulation in power system.The simulation system can simulate various faults and the recovery in abnormal state,especially the heavy distorted fault current and voltage wave.Then the characteristic and operational behavior of the relay protection can be checked.This system can facilitate the scientific calculation and simulation to such kinds of equipment as power network,generator,transformer and circuit breaker.On this basis,the fault simulation model,database,graphical man-machine interface and the application analysis interface together constitute the simulation software of the whole transient course.The software can carry on the fault simulation analysis to the network neutral-point voltage wave.It is concluded that the software can satisfy the analysis of power system.
