Screeningul ecografic în al treilea trimestru al sarcinii
2020
Fetal growth restriction, second-trimester undiagnosed or evolving fetal abnormalities and placental abnormalities may influence the conduit in the last trimester of pregnancy. Ultrasonographic examination in the third trimester of pregnancy is an essential component of fetal monitoring, being recommended between 30 weeks and 35 weeks + 6 days. This article describes a set of elements that need to be evaluated in the ultrasound examination for anomalies in the last trimester of pregnancy. The presence of fetal cardiac activity, the number of live fetuses and the details related to fetal presentation, conductance of biometry with percentile evaluation, and data regarding placenta and amniotic fluid are among these elements. The third-trimester morphology is reduced to a minimum due to the difficult maternal and fetal conditions of evaluation, specific to this period of pregnancy. The conclusions of the ultrasound examination will be recorded in an examination report, with a focus on the description of the anomalies detected. In case of uncertainty, it is recommended to reevaluate or request a second opinion.
