ANTIBACTERIAL ACTION OF SILVER APPLIED ON CELLULOSE FIBERS GRAFTED WITH MONOCHLOROTRIAZINYL-β-CYCLODEXTRIN

+(Ag 0 ), when it is in the form of nanoparticles (AgNPs). Silver, in both states, has been studied in terms of its interaction with β-cyclodextrin grafted onto cellulose fibers through the monochlorotriazinyl function. We attempted a correlation of the stability of the complex formed by the two forms of silver with their antibacterial action and resistance to washing of the silver attached to fiber.
