Abstract Glucocorticoids (GCs) affect the proliferation of growth plate chondrocytes. In this study, we investigated the role of the GC-inducible promyelocytic leukemia zinc finger (PLZF) gene in chondrocyte differentiation by using the chondrogenic cell line ATDC5.
