Radiation Dose from Single-Heartbeat Coronary CT Angiography Performed with a 320–Detector Row Volume Scanner

2010
Volume scanning with a 320–detector row scanner was found to reduce radiation doses at coronary CT angiography by up to 91% in comparison with those at standard helical scanning, with effective doses of 5.8 mSv at 120 kVp and 4.4 mSv at 100 kVp.
