Summary findings of ESRC Study on the representation of parents in care (dependency) proceedings in England and Wales 2008-9. A detailed qualitative study including 16 cases studies of proceedings where a parent's lawyer was observed in pre-court advice and negotiation, the court hearings and post hearing discussion with client.
