Research on the status quo and influence factors of students' innovative self-efficacy in medical colleges and universities of Heilongjiang province

Objective
To investigate the status quo and the influence factors of students' innovative self-efficacy in medical colleges and universities of Heilongjiang province.
Methods
Questionnaire survey was used. Students' innovative self-efficacy of 1077 students from Harbin Medical University, Jiamusi University and Qiqihaer Medical University were surveyed by self-compiled questionnaires, and the potential influence factors were analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis.
Results
The innovative self-efficacy scores were (69.25±10.44) points. The multivariate linear regression model include student leader experience (B=-2.19, P<0.001), innovative competition experience (B=2.01, P=0.042), life and study satisfaction (B=1.96, P<0.001), professional satisfaction (B=2.36, P<0.001) and innovation understanding (B=4.19, P<0.001).
Conclusions
The overall level of students' innovative self-efficacy in medical colleges and universities of Heilongjiang province is good. Student leader experience has negative influence on innovation self-efficacy; Experience of innovation competition, satisfaction with study and life, professional satisfaction and understanding of innovation connotation have positive influence on innovation self-efficacy.
