Enfermería Geriátrica y Gerontológica: aprendizaje basado en problemas

Since the academic year 2003-2004 the subject of Geriatric Nursing is being developed with support from the website –ategg- http://www.uam.es/personal_pdi/elapaz/mmmartin/, experience that has been assessed positively by the students. However, it has been observed that the availability of the teaching material in the web has encourage the students to, on the one hand, misuse the studying time and, on the other, increase the absenteeism in the in-classrooms lectures, concentrating mainly in the study of the subject for the final examination.
